Money for the New World Order

IRVINE – BNS - Alan Metcalfe, the publisher of Business Missionaries News said today that Christians around the world should be seriously worried about moves to introduce a new global currency to replace the US Dollar. “This move will bring about the greatest transference of wealth from the poor to the rich, the world has ever seen,” Mr. Metcalfe said. “It will decimate the middle class and destroy individual free enterprise and freedom around the world.”
Mr. Metcalfe said that anyone who has any doubts about the outcome of moving to such a new currency controlled by the United Nations should look to the recent history of countries like Russia, when it comes to valuing currencies. Before the collapse of the USSR, the Russian Ruble was valued by the Communist regime equal with the US Dollar. After the collapse, the true value was revealed, which was some 3,500 times less. Even now, after all the oil revenues that Russia has earned, the Russia Ruble is still worth only 3 cents to the US Dollar. China, another strong advocate for a new currency, has fared somewhat better, but still the Chinese Yuan Renminbi is only valued at 14 cents to the US Dollar.
“Like most Socialist programs, it sounds great,” Mr. Metcalfe said. “But, like all the rest, it is socially and economically irresponsible, because it will devastate those it is supposed to help.”
Mr. Metcalfe said that although the new currency was being vigorously promoted by Russia and China, he doubted that the people behind the push had really given much thought to the consequences of this action. “I know it sounds great to trash America; it is very popular throughout the world today, but I wonder how many people who join in this game actually understand the consequences?” he said.
“If I were running a Communist or a Socialist country in the world today, the last thing that I would want to see is the collapse of the US economy.”
“Even if you despise America, you cannot deny the contribution that America has made to current standards of living around the world.”
“Take America out of the equation and the world is in very, very serious straits. Billions will be unemployed and chaos will reign.”
“In this sort of a world, I cannot see any of the current Socialist/Communist governments surviving. There will be a massive, extremist, right wing backlash like we saw in World War II. Only this time it will be many times worse, because now we have nuclear weapons.”
Russia’s New World Coin
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev backed Russia’s call for a supranational currency to replace the US dollar at the recent G8 Summit by producing a sample coin of a “united future world currency.” The coin, which bears the words “unity in diversity,” was minted in Belgium and presented to the heads of G-8 delegations.
The test coin “means we’re getting ready. I think it’s a good sign that we understand how interdependent we are,” Medvedev said.
Russia’s proposals for the G-20 meeting in London in April included the creation of a supranational currency.
